The evening prior to the Denver Media Show, students in any Outdoor Recreation related program are welcome to join us alongside professionals in the Outdoor Industry — Sales, PR, Media, and Marketing — to share your personal stories from the trail and in the office about our shared outdoor experience. Talk about the latest trends in the outdoor industry, trail conditions in the Front Range, all-time favorite gear, or just enjoy hanging at OMA with like-minded people who love the outdoors and have committed their work life to it.

Through educational and leadership speaker series, brand partnerships, and networking opportunities like the Student / Industry Mixer, the OMA is creating a future potential job pipeline for young people interested in careers in the outdoor industry. OMA’s mission is two-fold: to elevate the experience for its brand partners and retailers through a fresh showroom venue, while acting responsibly to support community initiatives through its non-profit association.
The Student / Industry Mixer is informal in nature, unstructured, yet welcoming to all students and professionals who wish to meet new people, talk about their personal stories in and around the Outdoor industry. There is no set agenda, just an open door and others with a shared passion for the outdoors.
